Quick Thought

I just had a quick thought that I wanted to jot down...

We've all heard people say that our government, nation, etc. is fighting the war in Iraq over oil. If this is truly the case, then why exactly do we not take over other countries and territories that have resourced we could use? Could it be that we actually have a noble cause? Women are subject to terrifying things and are completely oppressed. We say, "Oh, that's their culture." Well, what if you had a relative over there? Would you not interfere because it's "their culture?" What kind of heartless excuse is that? Families were butchered simply because they disagreed with Hussein. He's been responsible for so many deaths... If we stopped Hitler, why not Hussein? Where has America's love of human life gone? The liberals say, "Oh, our poor soldiers and the conditions they go through." It's interesting that you don't hear the soldiers complaining. They say that several thousand have died over there, and that it's a tragedy. Hello?! Do we not kill over 4,000 babies a DAY in this nation?

Isaiah 5:20 - "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!"

Matthew 24:12 - ""Because lawlessness is increased, most people's love will grow cold."
