Wars and Religion

I'm sure we've all heard one of the lamest excuses people use of why "religion" is bad -- War. Well, I've decided to name the major wars of JUST our country. Notice that NONE of them were about "religion."

Revolutionary War
War of 1812
Mexican War
Civil War
Spanish-American War
World War I
World War II
Korean War
Vietnam War
Gulf War

Only the recent War in Iraq is about religion...and that religion is Islam, whose "holy" book teaches Muslims that if someone cannot be converted to Islam they should kill them...preferably by beheading. This is not how Christianity works.

It amazes me how some people want to just abandon Israel. Maybe they should pull out a map and see how small it is. They should see how vast the space around them is that is occupied by Islam, a religion which says take no Jew or Christian to be their friend. (This is in their scriptures.) They should realize that if we abandon Israel, it is the same as watching a group of ten or so bullies beating up a small kid and not doing a thing about it.
